I AM THE 22nd.
I BECAME IN JULY 2006.
I OFFER MY PRAYER OF PEACE IN 42 LANGUAGES,
RISING UP TO THE ONE.
  

 This angel is an original, one of a kind, art doll.

The 22nd Peace Angel was created for the Hoffman 2006 challenge. 

I pinned the challenge fabric and a dozen or so coordinating fabrics to the 
draperies in my studio. Looked at them for weeks and nothing happened. Then,
the lilles outside the window bloomed -glorious shades of rasberry, fuchsia,
magenta- so the fabrics were chosen and this angel became.

She can lay her wings flat for easy traveling. The faux stain glass panels glow
softly in front of a window. Her face is sculpted from polymer clay. Her armature,
or internal structure, is wire and steel brake line with a stainless steel base.
She is 14.25 inches tall, has a 7 inch diameter and weighs about 1 pound.

Donated to "Every Dool Needs a Home"


The Evangeline Booth Mirical Home is a temporary emergency shelter for
homeless women and children located in Schenectady, NY. They will be 
holding their annual fundraiser on September 18, 2008. The event is
called "Every Doll Needs a Home" and is a doll art benefit.
